PreviewsNot since 2005 has there been an Irish winner of the Christmas highlight but this year's Gold Cup winner Minella Indo must hold every chance. Expected to come on for his reappearance run at Down Royal behind the reopposing Frodon, the eight-year-old is likely to give a bold sight, though, he usually saves his best for Cheltenham and his record going right-handed does not inspire confidence. Two-time winner Clan Des Obeaux was a revelation late last season, but he struggled in this last year and his record fresh is nothing to write home about, while Frodon looks to have one way of going and he may not be allowed to dictate as he was last year. That leaves us with the unexposed CHANTRY HOUSE, who has barely put a foot wrong over fences thus far, is proven over the trip and as a Marsh Chase winner, looks to have the relevant gears for this test.
