PreviewsZABEEL CHAMPION won twice at Newmarket prior to finishing a close second over 1m2f at Goodwood late last month. The way he kept on that day suggests that this step up in trip may suit the colt and a 3lb rise in the ratings should not stop him from going very well. Alfaatik was not disgraced in the Group 3 Classic Trial at Sandown last April but failed to fire in a Listed race when last seen a month later. On the pick of his form an opening mark of 94 is fair and he merits respect. Others to note are Koeman, Restorer and King's Caper.
