PreviewsLaafy went down fighting when second in the Old Newton Cup and having scored impressively at Newbury before that, holds leading claims as he returns to further. The form of Calling The Wind's Ascot win is solid and he could play a part following a 7lb rise, while the consistent Mordred is interesting stepping up in trip. Mark Johnston has a fine record in this and his King's Advice was twice a C&D winner last season, including when taking this off a 4lb higher mark. Stablemates Hochfeld and Themaxwecan are both capable operators who can't be ignored, but a chance is taken on PLATITUDE, who is a dual track-and-trip winner and can take advantage of an attractive rating following an encouraging second at Sandown.
