PreviewsThis looks the best race of the season so far. 2000 Guineas winner Kameko (who had Wichita back in second that day) was ridden to get the trip when fourth in the Derby but, like most of the field, couldn't land a blow on Serpentine after the Ballydoyle front runner slipped the field. His finishing effort at Epsom suggested he didn't fully stay the distance, though, and the drop back to a mile appears a sensible step. However, having overcome a torrid trip to land the Irish 2,000 Guineas from Vatican City at the Curragh, exciting Ger Lyons representative SISKIN is taken to have his measure. Mohaather posted a career-best effort when landing the Summer Mile from San Donato at Ascot but conceding 8lb weight-for-age to the Classic winners will be no easy task.
