PreviewsWEMBLEY has proven to be a consistent performer this year and the son of Galileo clearly sets the standard, having hit the crossbar in the Dewhurst a couple of weeks ago. He also filled the runner-up position in the National Stakes prior to that and a reproduction of either of those efforts should be good enough to see him earn his first Group 1 victory today. One Ruler appreciated the step up to a mile when winning the Autumn Stakes last time and that followed a fine effort in a vintage renewal of the Flying Scotsman over 7f here at the St Leger meeting. State Of Rest was not disgraced in the Champagne Stakes last month and he could go well once again, while Cobh is the pick of those at bigger prices.
