PreviewsBeat The Judge (third), On The Slopes (fifth) and Ballywood (sixth) were amongst those to chase Rouge Vif's tail over course and distance at the October Meeting and with not much separating the trio on that occasion, they all appeal here meeting again on similar terms. Magic Saint drops back in trip following a respectable effort in the Old Roan at Aintree and can't be ignored, while Eamon An Cnoic reappears following wind surgery and warrants a market check. However, a chance is taken on the returning FANION D'ESTRUVAL, who created a taking impression when beating a useful cast at Newbury on his UK debut, before disappointing in the Grade 2 Wayward Lad Chase at Christmas. Still only five, there could be plenty to come from Venetia Williams' charge and catching him fresh may be the best.
