PreviewsEasysland is lethal in this discipline and showed off his big engine when successful over C&D in December under regular pilot Jonathan Plouganou. The six-year-old warmed up for this with a routine success in his native France and has to be taken seriously, especially after J P McManus purchased the Gentlewave gelding earlier in the year. Might Bite is an intriguing recruit to the Cross Country scene and showed much more when third behind Native River in the Denman Chase at Newbury, while Neverushacon accounted for Yanworth (third) at Punchestown when last seen and is taken to confirm that form. It is difficult to ignore the obvious claims of TIGER ROLL, though, and he can make it three successes in this contest. There was much to like about his return to action in the Boyne Hurdle when fifth and that should have put him spot on for this. Also a winner of the Triumph Hurdle and National Hunt Chase, he comes alive in the spring and it is hard to see him losing here.
